Silly kids.

Wyatt woke up coughing and came in my room hacking this morning. "Mommy, frogs crawled in my tummy In the night time and are making me cough!"

 

Taylor likes to demonstrate everything he has learned in kindergarten. "Mommy, I know the S-word...stupid. And the D-word....dumb. Also I know the other D-word...dang it. I also know the H-word...it's really bad...Hail." Lol. I figure with the a language that slips out around here, he would be more proficient in his forbidden words by now. :)

Friday fun day!!!

To party like rock stars- you need to look like them. Blue and red, check. Blue spikes, check. (pastel art chalk- washes out in a day- or so the almighty Internet says lol).

We saw a 'big movie'...Brave. The kids loved it! Got our library prizes for the summer reading program and even took a nap.

 

Grandpa gave the boys treasure boxes with ice cream money. It took me 30 minutes to figure out the "trick" to opening them!!

Thanks grandpa!!

 

 

Fishin' for dinner

Wyatt thought the fishin part was fun- the 'no talking' part was no fun at all.

 

It's hard work fishing or your dinner. Good thing we packed burgers, just in case.

Taylor did catch a trout this morning, but the pics are on my good camera. It was a little small, so we tossed it back.

This is Wyatt's back after a run in with a pine cone last night (aka yellow jackets nest). He got stung 3 times and was fine 5 minutes after. He's a tough kid!

Spring berries!!

They're COMING!!!!!!
It's our first spring for real blackberries after we planted the little sticks last winter. I have babied the vines, more so than anything else I've ever grown. Maybe because they produce fruit and not green veggies?? Lol
